Northwest Cosmetic Labs Receives Grant Money for Employee Training
Idaho Falls, Idaho – May 03, 2016

Northwest Cosmetic Labs will soon be awarded grant money from the Idaho Department of Labor. With the award of this grant, NCL will be able to move forward with some exciting training as well as the creation of new positions within the company. These new positions will be filled by both current employees who will be promoted or through recruiting top-notch talent to join the NCL team. There are 82 positions that are targeted for substantial training assistance. These trainings will help improve in the following areas:
Lean/Six Sigma White, Yellow, and Green Belt Certification
Cosmetic Science Certifications
Institute of Managerial Accountant’s Certified Managerial Accountant Certification
Syteline ERP training
Project Management training and Project Manager Certification (PMP)
APICS Global Sourcing, Process Control
Supply Chain Management Certifications
Every employee at NCL will be able to take advantage of these funds by training with new and promoted employees in the area of Lean/Six Sigma. NCL has already started training all of their employees in the Lean/Six Sigma category. All employees, according to Nic Lindley, the Continuous Improvement Manager, will have the opportunity to become white belt certified. This beginner course will begin to help all NCL employees recognize ways to become more efficient in their daily tasks. NCL is always looking to improve and will use this grant money to not only invest in their employees' careers, but in so doing, better serve their customers.
